We have something for all ages and abilities.  If you can't find what you are looking for email us at tlrsriding.com.  Beginner lessons in Red. Intermediate in Blue.  Experienced and Intermediate plus in Green.

 

If you want a shared private lesson, for up to three riders, book a private slot then email us at tlrsriding@gmail.com with the date and time of the lesson and we will add an extra space or spaces and adjust the price. 

Private lessons -

• 30 minutes any age and ability from 4 years. 
• 45 minutes Intermediate ability up, age 12 years upwards. 

The easiest way to search for lessons is - go to 'book a lesson', 'calendar', everything suitable for your grade will show in the calendar.  Just click on the ride you are interested in. If you haven't joined the booking system you will need to do this first.

this is for intermediate plus and experienced riders. If you want to come and get your own horse ready let us know. You will need to be at Turpins Lodge by 3pm latest.

•                             Arrive at Turpins Lodge ready to leave at 10 (9 am if you want to tack up your own horse.)
•                              Hack to Cross Country Course.
•                              1.5 hours jumping including water, ditches, banks etc. 
•                               Hack back to Turpins Lodge for 1.30 
•                               Picnic lunch once ponies are untacked, washed off and put away.

Sunday 25/8            Show Day - 8 - 4 

•                        Starting with showing.  8 - 10 you will be able to prepare your horse/pony for the show ring. Drink and biscuit. 
•                         10 am - Showing Class. Prizes for the best mare, best gelding, youngest rider, oldest rider. Overall best turned out rider. Overall best turned out horse. Best turned out rider and horse combination. 
• 11 am dressage test. Novice test in walk and trot for beginner plus and intermediate riders. Test with walk, trot and canter for intermediate plus and experienced riders. 
• 12 - 1 break (bring a sandwich)
• 1 - 3.30 Gymkhana ending with clear round jumping for those that have jumped before. 
• 3.30 untack, wash off and turn your horse out.
• 4 pm prize giving.
